Breaking: Meghan Markle had to reassure Prince Harry after he was ‘blindsided’ by divorce book rumors….See More

Meghan Markle has had to “convince Harry she’s in this for keeps” following rumors she is going to release a “post-divorce” book .
It’s been claimed the Duchess of Sussex has held talks with an unnamed publishing house to see if they would be interested in the book . Meghan is currently married to Prince Harry, but a source claimed she wanted to “gauge interest.”
Now, another source suggested the Duke of Sussex has been “blindsided” by the claims. Meghan has reportedly been left to try and fix the damage and reassure her husband everything has been “totally blown out of proportion.”
The source explained Harry and Meghan were “aware some type of article was in the works” after journalists made contact with their friends and colleagues. However, they said the couple wasn’t expecting anything like the Vanity Fair exposé which was released.
“Harry didn’t expect anything like this; it’s shocked him to his core. He feels blindsided. The accusations are extremely unsettling to him,” the source told Life and Style Magazine .
They also claimed Harry’s friends are confused by the reports. “People in Harry’s world are wondering what on earth Meghan was thinking and are calling on her to explain herself,” they said.
Those close to Harry believe exploring a post-divorce book doesn’t make sense as the pair are “happily married,” according to the source. Meghan has now been working hard to reassure her husband.
Meghan convinced Harry she’s in this for keeps. But the pressure these claims have put on them has been intense. Once again, they’re having to defend themselves and their relationship,” the source added.
In the recent report from Vanity Fair , Meghan’s divorce book was alleged to be about the aftermath of her potential split from Harry, as opposed to her first husband Trevor Engelson . Meghan and Trevor married in 2011 before finalizing their divorce in 2014.
A source told the publication Meghan’s book meeting did not imply she is actually divorcing Harry. Instead, they insisted it was simply to see if the publisher would “theoretically be interested.” The publisher reportedly never made an offer.
