Breaking: Kate Middleton hires consultants over Prince George decision as she thinks ‘outside the box…Read More

The Princess of Wales has thought carefully about the education of her eldest sone, who will one day be king, even hiring a team of consultants to help her make the perfect choice
Prince William and Prince Harry were both educated at Eton, an élite all-boys secondary school that has seen countless former pupils go on to become leaders in industry and, especially politics.
The two princes followed their grandfather John, the eighth Earl Spencer and uncle Charles Spencer into the £63,000-a-year private school. But, says royal expert Charlotte Griffiths, the Prince and Princess of Wales are “thinking outside the box” when it comes to Prince George’s education.
As a future monarch, George’s preparation for adulthood is unlike that of any other 11-year-old. He has been groomed from birth for a unique and difficult job, and his mother Catherine, Princess of Wales, has been determined to ensure that George has a rounded experience of life before he takes on that burden.
She has enrolled her eldest son into the prestigious Marlborough College, where she herself spent many happy years. It’s understood that George’s siblings, Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, will also be attending the £59,000-a-year Wiltshire school when the time comes.
That’s because Marlborough, unlike Eton, is a co-educational school. Gordonstoun, the spartan Scottish boarding school that King Charles attended – and hated – in the early sixties was an all-boys establishment at the time too.
Catherine, Charlotte told Channel 5’s How To Make a Monarch, “absolutely loved Marlborough”, and is determined that her children grow up with fond memories of their schooldays too
