One family got a lot more than they bargained for while taking photos together underneath the blooming cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C., when Barack Obama strolled into frame.
Mom Portia Moore shared the one-of-a-kind snapshots of her son and daughter posing in front of a completely unassuming Obama on Instagram on Tuesday, April 1, but it was no Photoshopped April Fools joke.
The politician and his security walked casually behind the kids, who were all dressed up for the occasion, in the two photos shared to the social media platform. Moore explained in the caption that she didn’t even realize it until after the fact, with someone else noting that “that was President Obama who just walked by” and nodding after him.
Moore beelined for the photographer and asked if she’d captured the moment. “BOOM there is it! The perfect shot!” she explained.
The post also featured a clip from a news broadcast on their “family heirloom,” which Moore called “an epic core memory formed for our entire family.”
While they didn’t bother the former president at the time, he did speak up after the moment went viral. “Preston and Belle, I hope you enjoyed peak bloom!” he wrote in response on the social media platform. “My bad for stepping into the shot.”
Shemar Moore’s got fans all riled up in advance of the next episode of his hit procedural series S.W.A.T.
The beloved actor took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 2, in advance of Friday, April 4’s show, to celebrate a pair of guest stars that it sounds like viewers will not want to miss!
“Maannnnn….. It was so cool having these two LEGENDS come over a play with us on @swatcbs,” Moore wrote on the social media platform. “Thank you [Jerry Rice and Kenny Smith] for spending some time with us … All New Episode Friday 10PM .
He shared a series of behind the scenes stills to accompany his message, most of which were taken in a hospital room set—although a few showed some of his colleagues “Looking good in black suits,” which delighted fans, too.
