Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Hit First Red Carpet Together Since Justin Baldoni Legal Battle Began….See More

Lively, for her part, shone in silver for the “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” event.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds made their first public appearance together since their legal battle against Lively’s It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni began
Lively and Reynolds hit the red carpet on February 16 at the SNL50: The Anniversary Special event, seeming to be “in good spirits” at the event in New York City, People reported.
For the occasion, Lively wore a silver sequin Tamara Ralph gown with a plunging neckline and floral embellishments; she accessorized with metallic heels and diamond earrings. Reynolds, too, wore a floral embellishment in the form of a small floral pin worn at his lapel—perhaps a nod to It Ends with Us, where Lively’s character Lily Bloom owns a flower shop.
Lively played opposite Baldoni in the film; he also directed the project. According to People, Lively first accused Baldoni and others of sexual harassment and an alleged retaliatory smear campaign in a December 2024 complaint. Baldoni has denied Lively’s allegations and countered Lively’s initial claim with a $400 million lawsuit on January 16 against Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist, alleging several claims, including defamation. The case is scheduled to go to trial on March 9, 2026.
The drama—which has been heavily publicized—was seemingly addressed at the SNL50 event last night when former Saturday Night Live cast members Tina Fey and Amy Poehler appeared onstage to take audience questions. One of the many celebrities in the audience was Reynolds, sitting next to a smiling Lively. After Reynolds was asked how he was doing, he replied, “Great!” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Then, suddenly seeming concerned, he added, “Why, what have you heard?” Lively then looked sharply at her husband and briefly lost her smile. The Hollywood Reporter added it is “safe to assume that her stern look was part of the bit.”
