Princess Beatrice received a new major royal role after welcoming her second daughter

Prince Andrew has stepped out in public following the exciting news of his daughter, Princess Beatrice, stepping into a prestigious new role.

As per GB News, the Duke of York stepped in warmer spring weather as he headed out for his weekly ride around the Windsor estate.

He was seen without his usual puffer jacket as he went on an early morning trot around the Berkshire estate on Saturday,

The disgraced royal sported a burgundy jumper and navy blue shirt as the weather warmed up.

Prince Andrew was accompanied by a female groom for his morning ride.

Notably, the duke’s recent appearance came after his daughter, Princess Beatrice, whom he shares with Sarah Ferguson took a new royal role.

The Princess of York was announced as the new patron of Borne, a charity dedicated to ending premature birth.

Regarding her new patronage, Beatrice said, “The work that Borne is undertaking is something that is incredibly close and personal to me following the recent birth of my daughter.”

She added, “Every year in the UK, 60,000 babies are delivered too soon, with little information or research as to why this is.”
