Breaking News: Ukraine LIVE: Trump attacks Zelensky again in explosive rant – ‘Doesn’t want peace…Read More

The US President renewed his war of words with the Ukrainian leader on Truth Social after their extraordinary White House dust-up on Friday.
Donald Trump has launched another scathing attack on Volodymyr Zelensky, claiming the Ukrainian President “doesn’t want there to be peace”. In a post on his Truth Social platform on Monday, the US President had a furious reaction to comments from Zelensky that a deal to end the war between Ukraine and Russia remains “very, very far away”.
Trump wrote: “This is the worst statement that could have been made by Zelenskyy, and America will not put up with it for much longer!
“It is what I was saying, this guy doesn’t want there to be Peace as long as he has America’s backing and, Europe, in the meeting they had with Zelenskyy, stated flatly that they cannot do the job without the U.S. – Probably not a great statement to have been made in terms of a show of strength against Russia. What are they thinking?”
It follows his extraordinary argument with the Ukrainian leader at the White House on Friday, during which he and his Vice President appeared to ambush Zelensky with claims that he had been ungrateful for US support.
Trump is reportedly expected to discuss stopping military aid to Ukraine following the bust-up, which cast further doubt on the Republican’s commitment to European security and efforts to prevent further aggression by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
