The Prince and Princess of Wales shocked commuters Wednesday morning as they took the train to Wales for their royal trip.
Prince William, 42, and Kate Middleton, 43, who are known for taking royal motorcades or helicopters for royal engagements, decided to take a different route for their Wales trip ahead of the national holiday, St. David’s Day.
People were seen taking pictures and videos of the royal couple as they walked through a train station in Cardiff, Wales.
In the video, posted to the royals’ official Instagram account, Kate was seen waving at commuters as they walked by.
“Not the only one who has a bounce in the step back inside. By train to Pontypridd, South Wales” one X user wrote while sharing the video.
“William and Catherine took the train to Wales this morning. ” another commented.
