Breaking News: Travis Kelce Revealed the Swiftie-Coded Way Taylor Swift Is Helping Him Post-Super Bowl….. See More

He’s been down bad after the Chiefs’ loss to the Eagles
As Travis Kelce processes the disappointment of the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles at the 2025 Super Bowl, he’s taking a page from the Swiftie playbook. Taylor Swift fans have turned to the “Down Bad” singer’s extensive discography for coping with everything from tough breakups to feeling misunderstood–and during Wednesday’s episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce opened up about the surprising way that his girlfriend has helped him get through the disappointing conclusion to his football season.
While fans and non-fans alike wondered if Swift and Kelce’s relationship might take a hit after the Chiefs’ 22-40 loss to the Eagles on February 9, Kelce revealed that the Grammy award-winning star has been a constant source of comfort for him as he processes the defeat–even if she’s not there, and Travis confirmed that he’s been in his feels after “the Eagles broke my heart.”
Jason, the only way you can find yourself in the light is to find yourself in the dark first,” Travis told his older brother when asked if he’s been leaning into a “sad” music playlist in recent days. “I listen to music that is very telling of my mood.”
Proving that he’s the ultimate Swiftie, Travis confirmed that his Super Bowl loss had made him turn to Swift’s albums for comfort. “I just listen to Taylor’s music,” he told his brother. “She has something for everything.”
It’s no secret the “Cruel Summer” singer has been Kelce’s number one cheerleader, reportedly bringing in over $1 billion in publicity and revenue to the NFL with her VIP box appearances (usually with her family or squad in tow) during the Chiefs season. According to a Page Six insider, Swift has continued to be a major source of support for her footballer boyfriend after his loss. The source told the publication that the “Blank Space” singer “knows Travis took this loss very hard but she couldn’t be more proud of him regardless of the outcome.”
The final score reportedly didn’t change Swift’s experience at the game, as she “knows how hard” Kelce “worked all season and was thrilled to be at the Super Bowl to show her support.”
