King Charles set to be deployed on ‘charm offensive’ mission to the US to help ‘smooth diplomatic relations’ with Royal Family-loving President Trump….See More

The King and Queen are set to visit America in a so-called ‘charm offensive’ in their biggest royal tour yet to help smooth over diplomatic relations with Donald Trump.
It is planned that the monarchs will first go to Canada – which will be Charles’s first visit there as King.
They will then go to the US, where they are expected to be greeted by Trump, likely in Spring of next year.
In case of Charles needing to stay in the UK for cancer treatment, a backup plan involving the Prince and Princess of Wales is in place, sources said.
If it comes to fruition, it will be the first time a British monarch has visited the United States since 2007. But sources from within the palace said there is ‘no active planning’ for such a trip.
This follows the President declaring last week that he would not seek to deport the Duke of Sussex amid an ongoing legal battle over his immigration status, despite having previously suggested he might do so.
‘I don’t want to do that,’ Trump told the New York Post. ‘I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.’
