Despite their fractured relationship, Harry has given fans the biggest sign yet that he hopes to mend fences with the monarchy.

An awkward Prince Harry encounter has gone viral after being caught on camera.

Awkward footage captured the moment Prince Harry told a former colleague he couldn’t sign a copy of his bombshell memoir Spare in front of the cameras.

The incident, which took place at the 2025 Invictus Games, saw the royal politely turn down a request from Igor Krystak, a Team Ukraine Sports Manager at last year’s games, to sign his autobiography.

Krystak shared the awkward moment on Instagram Stories, claiming that Harry had previously promised to sign a book for a donation raffle.

However, Harry clearly didn’t expect the moment to be caught on camera and felt it could be a sign of disrespect to his family.

He could be seen gesturing for the Duke to sign the book in the presence of cameramen, to which Harry repeatedly responded: “Not here.”

“Find me later; I’m here all week,” he added.
