Joy Behar has returned to The View after a week-long absence, revealing the personal struggles that kept her away.
Fans of The View were thrilled to see Joy Behar back on the panel after a week-long absence that left many speculating about her future on the show.
The 82-year-old host finally addressed her time away, revealing there was more to it than off-Broadway commitments.
Last Thursday, Whoopi Goldberg assured viewers, saying: “Joy is not here. We wish her a happy opening night. It’s tonight.”
Joy’s new play, My First Ex-Husband, was written by and stars Joy alongside Tovah Feldshuh, Susie Essman, and Adrienne C. Moore.
She hinted it affected her throughout the week, coinciding with the launch of her play at New York’s Mac-Haydn Theater.
Despite being under the weather, Joy confirmed her show is doing well.
