King Charles comes to a signed agreement as reconciliation efforts are put in motion

King Charles is hoping to send a message of unity and reconciliation as major changes takes place at the Palace.

The monarch’s office on Tuesday shared details of an important meeting that took place at the Buckingham Palace, resulting in a signed document.

The update had emerged soon after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s decision surfaced amid their Invictus Games in Canada.

In a post shared by the Palace, photo highlights of the meeting were shared in a carousel.

“The King received Muslim and Jewish faith leaders at Buckingham Palace today, in recognition of their work developing new Muslim-Jewish Reconciliation Accords, which were signed earlier in the day,” the statement read alongside it.

“The ‘Drumlanrig Accord’ sets out a framework for collaboration and understanding, ensuring Jewish and Muslim communities can navigate challenges together while fostering mutual respect and solidarity,” it continued.

“The King has worked for many years to nurture greater understanding between different faiths and communities and to celebrate religious diversity in the UK and Commonwealth.”

The post was shared after it was revealed that Meghan will be flying back solo to California, back to their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

Meanwhile, Harry is expected to stay at the Games until after the closing ceremony this Sunday.

It is uncertain if Meghan will be returning for closing ceremony as her travel plans have been kept under wraps for security reasons.
