Meghan Markle has been documenting her and Prince Harry’s experience at the 2025 Invictus Games. Not only did she capture her husband breaking royal protocol, but she also stepped out of her comfort zone for a little snow tubing.

Today, the Duchess of Sussex posted a series of videos on her Instagram Story, featuring her snow tubing experience

The first clip (screenshot above) showed Markle and Prince Harry holding hands while approaching the sledding hill.

The second video (screenshot above) showed Prince Harry giving Markle a pep talk before her ride. “No, no, no…I really don’t want to do it!” Markle said. To which Prince Harry responded, “Come on, you’ll be absolutely fine! You’ll be fine.”

In the last clip (screenshot above), Markle can be seen spinning down the hill while Prince Harry laughs in the background.

The videos were posted a few hours after Prince Harry was seen breaking royal protocol. In the clip, the Duke of Sussex stopped the car and rolled down the window to talk to two fans. It didn’t take long for the royal to realize there’s a language barrier, especially when one woman asks if anyone speaks French. In the background, Markle said, “un petit peu” (which means “a little bit”).

The video reminded me of Kate Middleton, who had a similar experience while visiting the Corgi knitwear and sock factory in Ammanford, Carmarthenshire. On her way out, the Princess of Wales stopped the car and heeded the call of 3-year-old Lily-Rose, who had been crying out to her. The royal said, “I heard you say ‘hello’ from all the way back there and I wanted to come and see you.”
