• Trump meets Jordan’s king: President Donald Trump is meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the White House. Trump suggested he could withhold aid from Jordan and Egypt if they did not accept Palestinians as part of his plan for US ownership of Gaza — which the Arab leaders have rejected. The meeting also comes as Trump urged Israel to cancel the ceasefire with Hamas and warned “all hell is going to break out” unless Hamas releases all remaining hostages by noon Saturday.
Trump vs judiciary: The president has expanded on his criticisms of the judiciary as the list of legal challenges to his administration’s actions grows. Some of Trump’s top advisers have cast doubt on whether rulings on those lawsuits would constrain the president, foreshadowing a possible constitutional crisis.
