Prince Harry Videobombed Nelly Furtado & Meghan Markle on IG & It’s the Best Thing I’ve Seen Today….Read More

Nelly Furtado is already having quite the year. First, she shared an empowering, body-neutral message on Instagram, encouraging her fans to “express themselves freely” and “celebrate their individuality.” Then, she teased stunning visuals from her new song, “Better Than Ever.” Now, the pop star is offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of this year’s Invictus Games, featuring two very special guests.
Set to her classic single “I’m Like a Bird,” Furtado shared a short clip of herself posing alongside Meghan Markle in what appears to be a locker room. But the best part? When Markle’s husband, Prince Harry, emerged towards the end.
As seen in the above post, Furtado, who’s sporting a furry coat, flashes a big smile as Markle, donning a beige jacket, smiles and poses with her. But before long, Harry casually videobombs the recording. In the background, the royal quietly enters the camera frame and walks behind them, causing both Furtado and the duchess to erupt with laughter. The “Say It Right” singer captioned the post, “They’re beautiful, that’s for sure. @meghan @weareinvictusgames.”
Several amused fans reacted in the comments, including one follower who wrote, “So cute! Harry’s photobomb is hilarious!” Another wrote, “Love this. Love Harry in the background.”
Furtado shared the same video to her IG Stories and wrote, “Having a wonderful time at #InvictusGames with these gems.”
The Canadian singer took the stage at the Opening Ceremony of the Invictus Games and performed several of her hit songs, including “I’m Like a Bird.” She was also joined by Chris Martin, Noah Kahan and Katy Perry.
On Instagram, Furtado shared a carousel of highlights, from backstage photos, to striking images of a full crowd. She wrote, “I had so much fun putting together this performance for The Invictus Games opening ceremony. Thank you so much to @ill_abilities and @mattmaconline for your energy and inspiration. Blessings to all of the competitors—thanks for sharing your light with us all. #invictusgames.”
