Meghan Markle’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson has announced that he and his wife Tracey Kurland have welcomed a baby boy, their first son together
Trevor Engelson and his wife Tracey Kurland are celebrating the arrival of their third child. The film producer announced on Tuesday that Tracey had given birth to a baby boy in Beverly Hills, whom they’ve named Logan Stanford Engelson.
Sharing a heartwarming photo on Instagram, 48 year old Trevor wrote: “We are so proud to introduce the world to Logan Stanford Engelson! Our boy can’t wait to meet his big sisters.” He also expressed admiration for his wife, saying, “I lay in awe of my bad ass wife who somehow pulls this all off with grace and composure. Once again, I’m the luckiest guy I know.”
Trevor and Tracey tied the knot in May 2019 at an outdoor ceremony at Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, as reported by Entertainment Tonight. A source described the event as “fun and casual and absolutely beautiful,” adding that “everyone was having the best time, especially Trevor and Tracey.”
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Ford Grace Engelson, in August 2020, followed by Sienna Lee Engleson in November 2021.
Before falling in love with Tracey, Trevor was married to Meghan Markle. The pair wed in Jamaica in September 2011 after seven years of dating, but separated in 2013 and officially divorced a year later, reports the Mirror.
The separation came as a shock to Engelson, with a friend noting that he felt like he had gone from being cherished by Meghan to being “a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe.”
At the time, the couple was grappling with the challenges of a long-distance relationship, with Meghan spending extended periods in Toronto for the filming of Suits.
Meghan was required to spend long periods of time in Toronto, where Suits was filmed, while Trevor lived in LA.
It has been widely reported that Meghan ended their marriage abruptly, sending her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor via registered mail—a move described as “brutal” by royal expert Andrew Morton.
He quoted: “A wealthy entrepreneur friend claimed that the marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent Trevor her diamond wedding and engagement rings back to him by registered mail. Another confirmed that the decision to end the marriage was made by Meghan and that it had come ‘totally out of the blue’.”
Trevor, who owns the production company Underground, has produced films such as “All About Steve” featuring Sandra Bullock and Bradley Cooper, and “Remember Me,” starring Robert Pattinson and Pierce Brosnan.
