Heartbroken: King Charles ‘broke down in tears’ with Princess Anne as aide details ‘unusual’ move…..See More

Princess Anne reportedly issued a blunt response to her brother King Charles as part of an emotional conversation, as she vows to continue working alongside him.
King Charles has reportedly been left in tears over Princess Anne’s continuous loyalty to him.
After Anne recently ruled out retirement, a royal aide claimed the siblings had an emotional conversation about her being there for him, both professionally and personally.
The unnamed source claims the King “can’t bear the thought” of Anne, 74, feeling obligated to continue working due to his health issues.
The 76-year-old monarch announced he had been diagnosed with cancer in February 2024, and returned to work three months later while receiving treatment.
“In private, he is simply overjoyed that she’ll be there with him until the end,” the aide told Woman’s Day Magazine.
“The conversation they had about that was unusually emotional for Charles and he did break down in tears over her lifelong loyalty to him.”
According to the source, in true Princess Anne style, she told him to: “Dry your tears, buck up and get on with the job!”.
The Princess Royal, often dubbed the hardest working member of the family, has also been described as Charles’ “most reliable confidante”.
“She’s more than just a sister to him, she’s someone he’s always been able to lean on and frankly, he simply, can’t rule without her by her side,” the aide added.
Princess Anne recently addressed retirement plans, telling Press Association: “I don’t think there’s a retirement program on this partcular life.
It really isn’t written in, no. It isn’t really an option, no, I don’t think so.”
The aide added: “She takes her role as his sovereign bodyguard very seriously and she plans on working right up to her death, just like her mum.”
Charles and Anne’s mum, the late Queen Elizabeth was the longest-reigning monarch, who reigned from 6 February 1952 until her death on 8 September 2022.
Following her death aged 96, Charles became the UK’s monarch aged 73 and was crowned at Westminster Abbey on 6 May 2023.
