There are certain royal family members who are willing to show up and support Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at their upcoming event happening in February
Royal family members are set to be in attendance at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s major event in February.
Next month, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark are confirmed to be going to the Invictus Games in Canada.
“Prince Joachim and Princess Marie will attend the Invictus Games 2025, Vancouver, Canada,” the Danish royal family published on its website.
In early 2023, Prince Joachim and his wife Prince Marie left Denmark for Washington D.C.
The move was mainly because Joachim’s mother, Queen Margrethe II, had taken away the Princely titles of his children. This resulted in Prince Joachim and Princess Marie relocating to America, where he was put in the defense industry role at the Danish Embassy.
Now that they live in America, Joachim and Marie’s kids, Count Henrik and Countess Athena, can live normal lives without having their former royal affiliation. In 2024, Prince Joachim attended his big brother King Frederik’s proclamation ceremony.
Prince Joachim’s royal experience is similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who currently live in Montecito, California.
Each couple has settled in the United States with their children, as both Prince Harry and Joachim no longer do royal duties on behalf of their respective monarchies. The only difference is that Prince Joachim and Princess Marie still have a cordial relationship with the Danish royal family, as Harry and Meghan still have a frosty one with the Firm.
Since being in America, Harry and Meghan have endured much scrutiny, much like they did when they were on royal duties overseas.
The couple came under more fire when it was reported that Meghan was in talks with an unnamed publishing house to see if they were interested in a post-divorce book.
Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still married, a source suggested the book would be about their split if they were to break up. The insider claimed Meghan wanted to “gauge interest.” Meanwhile, another source suggested the constant speculation is causing fans to wonder “what’s real and what’s not,” and if Meghan and Harry aren’t happy.
