That’s because Kate managed to shop for new eyewear while in the Notting Hill district of London without making much of a fuss. In fact, no one would have even noticed if it weren’t for the bystanders who were taking photos of them nearby.

One eyewitness even said, “Isn’t it interesting how The Prince & Princess of Wales who are next in line to be King & Queen can quietly run errands without a convoy of security cars & multiple bodyguards following them.”

“But Harry is so special & needs 24/7 security while Meghan calls the paparazzi. Just goes to prove that you can’t trust anything those two say at all.”

Yikes. Talk about a burn. But as many of our readers already know, one of the reasons why the Duchess of Sussex refuses to even step foot on UK soil is because she’s so terrified of her safety.

Both Meghan and her husband Prince Harry have been none too pleased over the fact that their royal security was taken away from them after they pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family back in 2020.

As much as the Duchess of Sussex is terrified to walk the streets of London alone at night, Kate Middleton has no problem going shopping without a huge security detail looking after her each and every move.
