British Tabloid The Sun Admitted To “Instances Of Unlawful Activities” Amid Their “Serious Intrusion” Into Prince Harry’s Personal Life In A High Court Settlement…..See More

Here’s a full breakdown of Prince Harry’s lawsuit against Rupert Murdoch’s newspapers — including his decision to settle, and claims that his legal pursuit against the tabloids led to “aggressive and vengeful coverage” of him and his wife, Meghan.
In the settlement, NGN also issued a public apology to both Harry and his late mom, Princess Diana, as they admitted to “incidents of unlawful activities” being carried out amid their “serious intrusion” into both of their lives.
Harry’s lawyer also alleged that the prince’s legal pursuit against NGN is the reason why publishers targeted him and his wife, Meghan Markle, in an act of vengeance.
First of all, it’s important to note that this case is completely separate from a phone hacking case that Harry won back in 2023.
This was against Mirror Group Newspapers, and at the time, it was ruled that phone hacking was carried out by MGN journalists from 1996 to 2011, and was “widespread and habitual” from 1998.
MGN subsequently agreed to pay “a substantial sum” in damages to Harry, as well as his legal costs.
