Rumours have begun circling around that Meghan Markle’s team having reportedly floated the idea of a post-divorce tell-all book – even though she and husband, Prince Harry, are still together.

The source told the outlet that her team had a conversation with the unnamed publisher to ‘gauge interest’ in the hypothetical book, which was said to be ‘post-divorce’.

The insider claimed that the proposed book would focus around a theoretical split from Harry and did not concern ‘a general book on life after marital dissolution’, or one about the Duchess’ divorce from ex-husband, Trevor Engelson.

One source reportedly suggested Meghan may have been approached by the publisher rather than opening the discussion herself.

Regardless, the outlet highlights that the hypothetical book has no manuscript with no offers ever being made, leaving the reports firmly in the realm of hearsay.

It’s also important to note that such sources did clarify that this alleged inquiry was speculative and did not indicate any current trouble in the Sussexes’ marriage.

The e couple have an already existing four-book deal with Penguin Random House, which includes Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare – which was published back in 2023 – alongside Meghan’s children’s picture book, The Bench, which came out a few years back in 2021.
