As they say, timing is everything. There’s new speculation suggesting Kate Middleton might have tried to sabotage Meghan Markle’s new show on Netflix. And apparently there’s evidence behind it, too. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

There’s heavy speculation on social media that suggests Kate Middleton purposely scheduled her remission announcement and cancer facility visit a day before Meghan’s Netflix show was to premiere.

However, and as many of her readers know, Meghan postponed her show due to the wildfires in Los Angeles County, yet she got slammed by the British press anyway.

But there are some people who think that Kate’s scheduled public appearance was done on purpose in order to swipe the spotlight away from the Duchess of Sussex on what was supposed to be her big day.

Some fans and critics even commented on the matter with, “Kate could never upstage Meghan. A miniscule amount of people, mainly in the UK, cared about Kate’s birthday/events she attends and the same amount of people will care about this cancer announcement while millions are waiting on Meg’s cooking show and following her every move.”

Another critic wrote, “I don’t think that will ruin the show. People will watch and if it’s good, it will generate more buzz and viewers. They’ll no doubt try to upstage the media speaking about the show but I maintain if the show is good, it will succeed on its own.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Genuine question: why would it ‘ruin’ her show? From what I’ve seen on here people are either staunchly Meghan/Harry fans or staunchly Kate/William fans. I don’t think the two cross over. Someone looking forward to that show won’t care what Kate is doing?”
