Breaking: The five ways Prince William will change the Firm when he becomes king…See More
Prince William reportedly has a five-point plan in place for when he becomes King that includes a number of changes.
Prince William has reportedly drafted a five-point plan of changes for the monarchy in preparation for the day he becomes King.
The Prince of Wales, 42, is set to implement drastic plans for the Royal Family and the way it works when he takes over the crown from his father King Charles, as revealed by a well-placed source.
While these changes are not definite or set in stone, they are believed to include an even slimmer monarchy than the one Charles, 76, currently has, with fewer royal engagements and patronages, less formality, and a wave goodbye to the beloved Commonwealth.
The plan could also see William set the focus almost entirely on the Wales family, with scaled-down coronation and ceremonies forming a big part of this.
Although this has not been confirmed by the prince or the Palace, the idea that changes will come was hinted at by William when he described his future aim to be Royal with a small “r”. In Cape Town last year, William said: “I’m trying to do it differently and I’m trying to do it for my generation. And to give you more of an understanding around it, I’m doing it with maybe a smaller a smaller R in the royal. It’s more about impact philanthropy, collaboration, convening, and helping people.”
One of the youngest members of the Royal Family sparked fan frenzy earlier this week after he stepped out in a rare public appearance on New Year’s Day.
Lucas Tindall, three, was spotted at Cheltenham Racecourse with his parents Mike and Zara Tindall on Wednesday, along with his siblings Mia, 10, and Lena, six.
Although the young royal initially caught fans attention by his cheeky antics at the racecourse, royal watchers also noticed just how much he looks like one royal relative, something people were quick to point out on X.
