Prince Harry makes desperate seven-word plea to King Charles after heartbreaking snub

Prince Harry made an emotional appeal to King Charles following a brutal snub that led to his eviction from Frogmore Cottage, according to a royal author

Despite the late Queen Elizabeth gifting Frogmore Cottage to Harry and Meghan Markle as a wedding present, King Charles evicted them in early 2023. The decision came after the Duke of Sussex published his explosive memoir, Spare.

The couple had intended to keep the four-bedroom property in Windsor for use during U.K. visits. According to Omid Scobie’s book Endgame, Harry was deeply upset by the news and reached out to his father.

The Duke of Sussex expressed his concerns that losing access to Frogmore Cottage would make it difficult for the King to spend time with his grandchildren – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Scobie claimed that a few days after learning the news, Harry phoned his father and asked, “Don’t you want to see your grandchildren?” In response, the King allegedly offered a “half-hearted declaration that they would always have ‘somewhere’ to stay.”

Although the ultimate decision rested with King Charles, it’s believed one of his closest confidants played a significant role in advising him to evict Harry and Meghan. Scobie asserted Princess Anne was instrumental in influencing the King’s decision.

The King appeared to have reservations about kicking them out, but it’s been suggested the Princess Royal had a hand in convincing Charles to send them packing. Scobie claimed Anne was “at the forefront of the supporters of the firm approach” adopted by the Palace.
