In another desperate attempt, a Michigan prison inmate, Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith, who has filed a $400 million lawsuit against the music mogul, reportedly plans to call JLo as a witness in the case. He appears to believe that the singer and actress, who dated Diddy, may have crucial information about the events tied to his allegations. The lawsuit stems from an alleged 1997 sexual assault. Cardello-Smith, who is incarcerated in Michigan for unrelated crimes, claims that Diddy drugged and sexually assaulted him at a party.

Cardello-Smith, currently serving time for sexual misconduct and kidnapping, has accused government officials of conspiring with Diddy to suppress evidence of his alleged crimes. He is seeking $400 million in damages as part of his lawsuit, informs Marca.

According to the OK! Magazine, earlier a source revealed, “It’s no secret they had a very volatile relationship, but she doesn’t want to talk about it and is desperately hoping it will all just go away.”

The source added, “Jennifer is ignoring all questions about Diddy, but she can’t ignore the anxiety that comes every time his name is mentioned. She’s at the point now where she’s getting PTSD over it. She’s terrified where this will all end as far as her involvement goes. It’s likely she’ll be formally interrogated.”

Speculations were made earlier that JLo knew about Diddy’s misdeeds, on this, her Maid in Manhattan co-star Thea de Sousa has assured she knew nothing about his alleged crimes.
He claims, “If you knew Jennifer Lopez, if you ever worked with her like I did, or if you were close with people who are like family to her like I am, you would know she did not have any idea about Diddy.” He added, “She barely drinks, she is not a partier, she isn’t a good time girl, she is a workaholic who uplifts [women] and who was charmed by him for a brief time in her life.”
