The Chiefs are retooling after getting destroyed in the Super Bowl by the Eagles
ANDY Reid has added a two-time Super Bowl winner to his roster.
In an effort to return to their Super Bowl-winning ways, the Kansas City Chiefs have stolen a star player from their rivals.
Veteran safety Mike Edwards has signed with the Chiefs on a one-year deal.
Edwards was drafted in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
He started his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and eventually landed with the Chiefs.
Edwards played with the Buccaneers from 2019 to 2022, winning the Super Bowl with Tom Brady in the 2020 season.
He then went on to win his second Super Bowl with the Chiefs in the 2023 season.
Edwards signed with the Buffalo Bills for the 2024 season, but he was eventually released.
He went on to resign with the Buccaneers and played five games with them.
Now, he is being reunited with his Chiefs teammates for another run at the Super Bowl.
