Breaking: Patrick Mahomes Reveals Problems at Home With Daughter Sterling After Brittany Shared Bronze’s Struggle With Santa….Read More
Patrick Mahomes’s wizardry on the field might have taken the Chiefs to their 9th consecutive AFC West title. But at home, he faces parenting puzzles. On a recent radio appearance, he opened up about a relatable dilemma.
Speaking on 96.5 The Fan’s ‘The Drive,’ Patrick shared how his 3-year-old daughter is showing more curiosity about screen time. When asked about whether the kids in the house have a favorite Christmas yet, Mahomes said, “They’re too young. I mean, they don’t necessarily have one they love or not.” However, he admitted a growing concern. “But I think this year, my daughter is like, kind of getting into, like, TV shows. We try to keep her away from them, but she likes some.” His current goal?
Finding holiday movies to share without breaking their screen-time rules. It’s a challenge many parents know well. Juggling festive traditions with limits on digital exposure for the young ones is far tougher than it seems. “And so hopefully we can find some Christmas-spirited ones that she might like to watch,” the QB hoped.
It’s clear that while his football skills are top-notch, balancing fatherhood requires a whole different playbook. But with the holidays coming, he’s determined to share some Christmas cheer with his little ones, hopefully through the magic of classic holiday specials. But the Mahomes family’s holiday adventures don’t stop at screen time.
Brittany Mahomes, always keeping it real on social media, shared her own amusing parenting challenge. Patrick’s insight transitions seamlessly into this other hilarious family moment shared by Brittany.
Bronze’s Santa saga: A familiar parenting tale
While Patrick dealt with screen-time struggles, Brittany Mahomes had her own festive chaos. And taking their two-year-old son Bronze to see Santa didn’t go as planned.
Bronze was less than thrilled with the jolly old man. And the perfect Christmas photo with Santa didn’t come off as planned. Brittany shared the candid aftermath on Instagram on December 7. In one snap, Bronze sat smiling in a chair—far from Santa’s lap. “Of course, he was smiley and in a great mood once he wasn’t close to Santa ,” she joked. The Santa visit didn’t deliver a picture-perfect moment, but it’s one every parent can relate to.
From tantrums to tears, Brittany embraced the comedic reality of holiday parenting. And as the Mahomes family navigates these holiday hiccups, their bond shines through, promising more relatable moments to come. And the Mahomes duo, soon-to-be parents of 3, have embraced the season with heartwarming traditions.
Family outings, like ice-skating adventures, captured their festive cheer. On Instagram, Brittany shared snapshots of Sterling and Bronze enjoying the rink, bundled in warm winter clothes. In one picture, Patrick held both kids’ hands as they toddled across the ice, matching outfits and all.
This growing family continues to find joy amid NFL pressures and parenting hurdles. With a new kid on the way, the Mahomes crew is ready to take on 2024. And that too with plenty of laughs and love. Regardless of how high the stakes are on the field, Patrick and Brittany cherish life’s simplest, sweetest moments off it.
