Breaking News: Shameless Putin snubs Trump as he plunges Ukrainian city into darkness HOURS after promising to stop energy attacks….Read More

RUSSIA has plunged the Ukrainian city of Slovyansk into complete darkness with devastating strikes – just hours after dictator Vladimir Putin promised to stop such attacks.
Mad Vlad and US President Donald Trump had agreed to pause strikes on energy and infrastructure targets for 30 days in a limited ceasefire.
Despite the historic phone call, Russia launched a heinous airstrike on the energy infrastructure of Slovyansk in the Donetsk region, where 100,000 citizens reside, local reports claim.
Sources within the military revealed to Kyiv Post that areas of the city have been left with no electricity, plunging civilians into complete darkness.
The energy infrastructure strike was carried out using an aerial bomb, according to Ukrainian military correspondent Bohdan Miroshnykov.
US Congressman Joe Wilson has slammed the mad Russian dictator for already appearing to break the agreement, and “insulted President Trump”.
He said on X: “Putin’s forces targeted power systems in Slovyansk with guide bombs and attacks continue across Ukraine now.
“Putin does not want peace, he wants Ukraine.”
Elsewhere, explosions were reported in Kramatorsk, with guided aerial bombs brutally striking residential areas.
And in Ukraine’s capital, anti-aircraft weapons were heard gunning down drones.
On Tuesday night, Putin and Trump were unable to reach a total pause on fighting in the historic talks between Moscow and Washington DC and Vlad will continue his brutal three-year-old war.
But the two sides agreed to the first steps in a limited ceasefire, with Putin agreeing to pause strikes on energy and infrastructure targets for 30 days.
Ukraine was left out of the talks, with Ukrainian President Zelensky saying after the meeting that he backed the energy truce but needed more details from the US.
Both sides have used missiles and drones to hit pipelines, refineries, and power stations deep inside each other’s countries.
Despite Russian dictator Putin refusing to sign up to the US-led proposal for a 30-day ceasefire over the phone with US President Trump, both leaders agreed to continue discussions.
Fresh talks are set to start on Sunday in Saudi Arabia, the Republican’s special envoy Steve Witkoff revealed to Fox News.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio alongside National Security adviser Mike Waltz are to lead the American delegation again.
Witkoff said “the devil is in the details,” but didn’t specify whether Ukrainian or Russian delegations would be seated at the talks.
Putin is playing a game,’ warns Germany
Following Moscow’s brutal overnight strikes on Ukraine, Germany’s defence minister has slammed dictator Vladimir Putin – warning that he is “playing a game”.
Boris Pistorius told German broadcaster ZDF: “Attacks on civilian infrastructure in the first night after this supposedly pivotal and great phone call have not abated.
“Putin is playing a game here, and I’m sure that the American president won’t be able to sit and watch for much longer.”
