Just In: Prince Harry urged to keep professional separation from Meghan Markle after ‘ill-advised’ move …. See More

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have taken different routes when it comes to their work, despite both continuing their projects as they focus on their separate brands
Prince Harry has been advised to maintain his “professional separation” from Meghan Markle for the time being.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to be carving their own career paths, as they engage in more individual projects. Meghan’s latest venture is her eight-part series With Love, Meghan on Netflix, part of a five-year agreement the couple signed in 2020.
Harry has also released solo projects with Netflix, including his recent documentary series Polo. PR specialists have now suggested it might be beneficial for Harry to keep some professional distance from Meghan for now after a previous PR disaster following their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Speaking to GB News, he added, “But, right now, they need to be doing everything they can to professionally distance themselves from the past three years. When you think ‘Meghan and Harry’, most will think of the rollercoaster since that terribly ill-advised Oprah interview.”
Regarding the couple’s current strategy, he stated, “So, for now, they must rebrand themselves professionally as ‘Meghan’ and ‘Harry’. When the time is right, they can become ‘Meghan and Harry’ again.”
His comments come as Meghan has just announced her brand new podcast following the success of her Netflix show. The Duchess of Sussex is teaming up with Lemonada Media to produce the eight-part series Confessions of a Female Founder
Meghan announced the new podcast on Instagram. “I’m so excited to share with you something else I’ve been working on: “Confessions of a Female Founder,” my new podcast with @lemonadamedia!” she captioned the post
Meghan continued, “I’ve been having candid conversations with amazing women who have turned dreams into realities, and scaled small ideas into massively successful businesses. They’re opening up, sharing their tips, tricks (and tumbles), and letting me pick their brains as I build out my own business, As ever.”
The Duchess of Sussex concluded, “It has been absolutely eye-opening, inspiring…and fun! (Because what’s the point if we can’t have some fun on this wild adventure?) First episode is April 8th!”
Lemonada’s CEO and co-founder, Jessica Cordova Kramer added, “As female founders ourselves, Steph and I are grateful to get a chance to build alongside Meghan the exact podcast we needed when we started Lemonada.”
Lemonada’s Chief Creative Officer and co-founder, Stephanie Wittels Wachs also said, “Meghan is such a warm and welcoming person, and you feel that in her interviews. She creates a comfortable space for her guests to bring fascinating personal stories to the table and open up in a way they likely haven’t before publicly. Listeners can expect conversations that are way more break room than boardroom.”
