Breaking News: Prince Charles Banned Diana’s Favorite Beauty Product For a Strange Reason: “You Must Stop….See More

King Charles III has long been a passionate advocate for climate change. However, his environmental zeal didn’t sit well with his former wife, Princess Diana, who was ‘furious’ when he banned her favorite beauty product—an aerosol hairspray. Charles argued it harmed the ozone layer and prohibited her from using it.
A passionate environmentalist, Charles is no stranger to delivering thought-provoking speeches on climate action. So, it comes as no surprise that he prohibited aerosol hairsprays from the royal household. Meanwhile, Diana, known for her beauty and impeccable fashion, and particularly ‘obsessed’ with her curly hair, found it unacceptable. According to the Daily Mail, royal author Ingrid Seward recalled, “Diana was very funny when Charles first talked about the Ozone layer.” She claims, he said, “’You must stop using your aerosol hair spray.’” Diana allegedly thought her husband had gone bonkers,
shared Seward, during her appearance on the documentary Charles: Our New King.
Charles himself seemed to hint at trouble in paradise during an environmental awards ceremony in 1988. As reported by UPI Archives, he said, “I personally, as I become older and more autocratic, have banned the use of aerosols in my household. Trouble still remains in finding adequate and good enough alternatives to hair spray as I’m sure all husbands will find.” In 1989, the then Prince of Wales wrote a powerful message about the depletion of the ozone layer while skiing at the Swiss resort of Klosters. He also educated representatives of the 124-nation ‘Saving the Ozone Layer’ on the consequences of the depletingozone layer
Charles has also long been a fierce advocate against seawater pollution, deforestation, and deteriorating air quality. He boldly addressed G20 leaders in Rome, urging them to recognize the urgent need for action. With passion, he called on leaders to tackle climate change head-on, ensuring future generations can live in a healthier, more sustainable environment. As reported by Sky News, in a rare appearance at a world summit, he stressed, “It is impossible not to hear the despairing voices of young people who see you [the leaders of the G20] as the stewards of the planet, holding the viability of their future in your hands.”
The King of England’s most notable initiative is the King’s Trust, which champions sustainability, environmental protection, and climate action. In 2007, he also launched The King’s Charities Foundation, comprising 19 organizations, of which 18 are personally founded by him. The foundation focuses on creating positive change in areas such as sustainable agriculture, conservation, and climate change advocacy. He has also played a key role in global environmental forums, calling for increased investment in green technologies and urgent action to address the climate crisis.
